To target people that are likely to have limited access to information about HE to raise their awareness of the opportunities of higher level study.
WHO IS IT FOR?: The project is for anyone wanting to target a specific group of people to raise their awareness of Higher Education, particularly to fill a skills shortage in a sector.
CASE STUDY: The case study was led by Eastleigh College and focused on targeting construction workers.
ABOUT: The aim of this project was to raise awareness of higher education among construction site workers and managers. The three main strands of the project involved engaging with employers and workers, offering information, advice and guidance and undertaking a follow up survey of the workers contacted to see whether they had taken up further study.
