Curriculum Groups

Curriculum Groups is the name given to the sectors that the Hampshire and Isle of White Lifelong Learning Network will target its work during the lifetime of the project.

The seven sectors represent the industries identified as those most likely to benefit from the work of the LLN in this region.

Of all the industry sectors within the region and surrounding area, all seven display the clearest need for workforce progression based on maintaining competitive advantage, dealing with future labour demands, meeting employer needs and future skills gaps, maximising existing resources and increasing productivity.

The HI-LLN works with its partner organisations to improve progression into higher education for people on courses that will benefit them in careers within one of these sectors.
